God's Powerful Princess, By Sarah H.

God's Powerful Princess

By Sarah H.
We are all princesses in Christ and that makes us powerful! Not in the blow up the universe kind of powerful, but in the saved-a-life powerful!
Do you know the song, “Go tell it on the mountain?” Well, we need to go tell the world!! We have the power from Christ to survive ANY situation if it is his will!
Being a princess means seeking the Lord; it does not mean just sitting around and doing nothing! As it says in Psalm 34:4, “I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.” God has the power to deliver us so we should be able to talk to a person about Him right?!!
We need to study more also! (Wouldn’t do to see a perfect opportunity to tell God’s word and not have anything to back it up with!) As it says Psalm 34:8, “The young lions do lack and suffer hunger but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing!” It means we need to study more so we don’t become like those young lions suffering from hunger!
Being a princess means accepting the way you are and realizing that God made everything beautiful just the way it is! And if your boyfriend thinks you’re too fat well now that doesn’t make him a very nice person does it?? Or maybe he is struggling with problems like parents who are divorcing or family members who have died!!  So don’t judge too harshly!!
Also be kind and have a happy attitude!! As it says in Proverbs 15:13, “A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken!” Ever had a day when nothing is good enough? Or people aren’t kind enough or yell at you? Well could that be because you were annoying them or sulking and pouting? NOBODY likes someone who isn’t kind!! Notice that when someone is happy and kind more people tend to talk to them than when they are sitting on the couch with a scowl on their face? I wonder why!
